The Wycliffe Presbytery of the CREC
This is the official website of the Wycliffe Presbytery, one of the presbyteries of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches.
Our site is new, and we are adding to it over the coming months. In due course you will find here details of every church in the presbytery, the names of its officers, and its agendas, minutes, and other documents.

Our Namesake
John Wycliffe
Our presbytery takes its name from John Wycliffe, the fourteenth-century Oxford theologian remembered as the “Morning Star of the Reformation.”
Wycliffe taught that Holy Scripture is the supreme authority for the faith and life of the Church, and he labored to put the Bible into the hands of ordinary people in their own tongue. His work gave rise to the first complete translation of the Bible into English, more than a century before Luther and Tyndale.
We are a young presbytery, but we gladly own that inheritance.
